10,000 Plus PCA Cards to be Delivered to Gov. Dayton Demanding New Election Following Alleged Union Fraud
WHO: Personal Care Attendants Kris Greene, Catherine Hunter and Sara Madill of MNPCA, lawyer Doug Seaton, Kim Crockett from Center of the American Experiment, former Sen. Al DeKruif whose son Jason is in the Choice Medicaid program and Rep. Steve Drazkowski, member of the Joint Subcommittee on Employee Relations (SER).
WHAT: Participants will meet outside Gov. Dayton’s office to deliver over 10,000 cards signed by PCAs from across the state, three times more than the 3,543 PCAs who voted for
unionization in 2014.
MNPCA seeks to have the 2014 election of SEIU Healthcare Minnesota declared void and/or that the Bureau of Mediation Services grant a new election. The participants will discuss the decertification election process, alleged election fraud and update their ongoing case and the appeal against Gov. Dayton and his agencies.
